Hi David. Thanks for your comment. I appreciate you taking the time to share your ideas. I agree that we need both a bottom up/top down approach. We need everyone doing what they can. As much as I agree with your ideas, I’m not sure the general population is ready to enact them. My guess is we are going to have to experience more pain/suffering before people are willing to give up their comforts. I love the idea of cities doing much more. I’m on the Global Leadership Council at WRI and they have a cities program that is looking at transportation, walkable cities, etc. I am also scheduled to attend a gathering looking at urban nature-based solutions next week. I plan on writing a blog post on cities soon. If you have some good resources feel free to pass them along.

BTW — what are walking crocodiles in the city?
